How You Can Help

Be A Part of Ending Hunger in Madison.

Donations

Did you know that donating to the Madison Food Center stretches a dollar further than you might imagine? Our "Five Dollar" display illustrates what you can purchase at the grocery store and donate to the Center versus what we can purchase from the Cleveland Foodbank for $5.00. Of course, donated food and personal care items are always welcome as are your financial gifts.

  • $.72 cents buys a case of Cornflakes at 6 cents a box.

  • $1.08 buys a case of corn at less than 5 cents a can.

  • $25 buys 180 pounds of chicken and ground beef at 14 cents per pound.

Donations of cash, checks, food, and personal care items are welcome during regular business hours or send your tax-deductible gift to:

or make your donation using PayPal by clicking on the Donate button below.

Volunteering

Thank You to Our Volunteers!

Volunteers are always needed at the Madison Food Center. Whether you can help pack bags,, unload delivery trucks, pick up supplies, or help with mailings and phone calls, please contact Pat or Chris at the Madison Food Center today. Volunteers will be asked to complete an application and meet with one of the co-directors. Also, check with your minister to see if your church is involved. There may already be a group involved.

Long-term volunteers Mike Pollak and Ken Irwin unload the Cleveland Foodbank delivery every Tuesday
