Our Services
The Madison Food Center provides a five-day supply of emergency
food to qualified individuals and families that reside in Madison,
Ohio. A household can only receive one supply every thirty days.
To receive food, individuals are asked to provide a state-issued
identification card and proof of residency (i.e. utility bill or
rent receipt). The Center also requests that clients certify
household size and income at the required limits set by the U.S.
Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Food distributed by the Madison Food Center is purchased at a reduced
rate from U.S.D.A.-approved food banks and area grocers. Some food
is donated by individuals, organizations and businesses. Personal care
items are also available when possible.
